Are Ron Swanson and Twelfth Doctor similar in personality

I love Ron Swanson (Nick Offerman) and Twelfth Doctor (Peter Capaldi) are very similar in personality and I am going to explain why.

Grumpy but they change Twelve is so grumpy that he isn’t well likeable at the start

Ron is written as a Libertarian but later gives our advice to his colleagues butalso is very secretive so Leslie doesn’t throw him big parties.

Twelve played a guitar during his mid life crisis but he kept it and end up get an acoustic guitar when he lost his memory of his best friend.

Ron has a alter ego called Duke Silver who plays a saxaphone but refuses to reveal his identity but some of his work mates find out.

Both characters are well loved for their friends

Twelve is loved by Clara Oswald, Bill Potts, River Song and maybe Nardole even tjoigh he insults him.

Ron is loved by his family and the sparks Department but more Diane Lewis, Leslie Knope, April Ludgate, Andy Dwyer, Tom Haverford and Ben Wyatt

They are both knowledgeable at a certain subject

Twelve spent a period in Earth has a College Lecturer and St Luke’s and taught all her knew to Bill Potts who he noticed having an interest in his Lectures.

Ron knows a lot about Wood and is well known for speaking about his love for wood on camera.

Both have had a Fall Out with their closest friends.

Clara walked out on 12 after he left on a moon because she was scared but they made up afte the Orient Express when she learnt why he acted like he did.

Leslie and Ron fell out after Leslie ended up not meeting with Ron and then joining a company th were fighting with Leslie for the Newport land and destroying Ann’s house.

They managed to recorrect and avoid mistakes that were made in the past.

Twelve managed to avoid the same after following Bill’s instruction to save this creature buried under the Ice in 1912 when he asked her as he can’t donit all the time. The best thing is when he credits Bill after changing the lives of four children who were living in the Slums so this why it’s a big deal.

Ron visited Leslie in help for a job which he was attempting to ask all those years below but luckily, this time because he asked her what he wanted and Leslie wa therefore him by giving him his dream job.

They have both punched someone being horrible to the friends,

Ron punched Jeremy Jamm after he ruined Leslie and Ben’s wedding because of his bravery, Leslie and Ann got him out of jail so he could walk Leslie down the aisle whilst April, Andy and Tom stopped Jamm from filing a lawsuit against Ron.

Twele punched Lord Sutcliffe after being racist to to his friends Bill Potts.
