Star Trek Lower Decks Episode 6 to 10 Quick Reviews

Writer's picture: Leigh CraddockLeigh Craddock

Here is the final part of my Star Trek Lower Decks review for episodes 6 to 10.

Episode 6 - Terminal Provocations

I love the bond between Mariner and Boimler having to deal with Fletcher’a actions and even though Fletcher’s reaction at the end was comic gold but they had to do it. Rutherford attempts to help Tendi ends in them being on the run.

Episode 7 - Much Ado About Boimler

Mariner’s attempts to impress her friend Amina Ramsey who is now Captain and her friends end in disaster but succeed in the end. Boimler has a bad day after his accident and has to g to a resort which he ends up having to leave a his cured.

Episode 8 - Veritas

The first dud episode of the series but it did have promise but the fact I don’t under why they were in trial doesn’t make sense. I get the birthday but it just felt not as great as it normally.

Episode 9 -

I love the whole obsession with Mariner wanting to teach her mother a lesson by creating a movie in the holodeck where she is a Villain. Love Boimler’s determination to be a hero and then discovering a secret Mariner and Freeman have hidden since Mariner arrived.

Episode 10

I love the whole threat with Mariner taking her Mum’s place and trying to be hero in a time of crisis. Shaks dies a hero saving Rutherford to alllow the virus to destroy the enemy ship and it’s done emotionally. Mariner’s jealously of Boimler’s position of the Titan at the end alongside Captain Riker and Deanna Troi.

I personally love this series & will be stick around for Series 2.
