I share who I think could qualify to the floor final and who could medal.
Viktoria Listinova (RUS)
Viktoria had a 5.6 and has a few titles on this event. She is entertaining on this piece and is able to motivate the crowd.
Angelina Melnikova (RUS)
Angelina has a 5.8 and is the current National Champion and has a European title.
Larisa Iordache (ROM)
Larisa has a 5.6 difficulty score and is the reigning champion on this piece. Her skills include Full In Pike, Full In Tuck with a Memmel included as well.
Vanessa Ferrari (ITA)
Vanessa is a European Champion on this event and could return to the floor finals.
Jessica Gadirova (GBR)
She could be one of the surprises of Basel 2021. One of her skills is Silivas and could potentialmake the final if she hitsr floor champion and has the potential to return to compete and fight for a place in the event finals.
Giulia Steingruber (SUI)
Giulia was the 2016 floor champion when Switzerland last hosted the European Championships. She could be a contender for the title.
Maria Ceplinsche (ROM)
Maria took silver at the Junior Euros last year and could be a finalist if she hits.
One more gymnast that could sneak in is Alice Kinsella (GBR) if she uses her new routine and hits it in qualifying. She was 7th on floor in 2019.
