I will be sharing some of the favourites for the all around title. I think this might be a tough year, especially when their are two Olympic spots for grabs in qualifications.
Victoria Listinova (RUS)
Viktoria is great on all pieces, she has two major junior titles her name and is very consistent. She recently took the all around title at the Russian Championships but she would need to hit 4/4 this time for the title.
Angelina Melnikova (RUS)
Angelina is the reigning European Bronze Medalist. Angelina had a good competition at the Friendships and Solidarity competition..
Vladislava Urazova (RUS)
Vladislava is another contender for a podium finish & Olympic spot. She is amazing on all pieces and won Silver at the Junior Worlds.
Larisa Iordache (ROM)
Larisa has a silver in the all around & is very consistent on all 4 pieces. She competed all a round at the Euros 2020 and would have won if it was competed here so she has a potential to return to the podium if she hits where other falters, she is a contender.
Amelie Morgan and Alice Kinsella (GBR)
Amelie competed last time but was two countries out of the finales a close contest between her and her teammates but still finished 5th. She created history in the all around as we saw in 2018 Junior Euros and has the potential to do well.
Alice is also a solid all arounder and has made two European All Around Finals. Her highest international score in a major conception is 54.765 at the World Championships All Around final.
It will be a tough battle as Jessica Gadirova and Pheobe Jakubczyk are also competing and could easily surprise. Jessica has a good chance on everything except bars so relies on a clean bar to qualify.
Vanessa Ferrari (ITA)
All four members of the Italian team have made European All Around finals and finished in the Top 8.
I would say the main standout would be Vanessa Ferrari’s all around return. On the 10th April, she competed in her first all around competition for a while at Series A and scored a 54.5 with her lowest score being a 12.8 on floor when she had a tough fall. Vanessa will be aiming for an Olympic spot here.
Gulia Steingruber (SWI)
The 2015 All Around Champion is back competing on her home country. She did well at Worlds 2019 After retrieving from a injury she got in 2018. She is back at full health and here to fight.
Zsofia Kovacs (HUN)
Zsofia is consistent on all four piece. She finished 2nd in 2017 and definitely has a shot to return to the top 8 if she hits.
